Biografia (en Alemán): Eigentlich Signe Larsson, nach anderen Quellen 1915 geboren, Schauspielerin des schwedischen und internationalen Films, geboren in Stockholm als Signe Larsson, Schauspielausbildung und Theater in Stockholm, Erste Auftritte am Königkichen Theater Stockholm im Alter von 12 Jahren, FilmdebĂĽt 1933, 1941 Emigration nach den USA, wo Hollywood versucte, sie als Nachfolgerin von Greta Garbo zu etablieren. Ihre bedeutendste Rolle spielte Signe Hasso in Fred Zinnemann's "The Seventh Cross" an der Seite von Spencer Tracy. Von 1933 bis 1942 mit dem Regisseur Harry Hasso verheiratet. Nach dem Unfalltod ihres Sohnes zog sich Signe Hasso vom Kino praktisch zĂĽrĂĽck, neben verschiedenen kleineren TV-Rollen blieb sie aber vor allem als Theaterschauspielerin und Rezitatorin aktiv.
