Hans Jura was born on March 21, 1921 in Wien. He was an Austrian Director of Photography, known for Kennwort: Reiher (1963), Hurra, die Schule brennt ! (1969), Die schwarzen Adler von Santa Fé (1965), Hans Jura's first movie on record is from 1962. Hans Jura died on November 25, 1996 in Bad Ischl. His last motion picture on file dates from 1982.
Biographical Notes in German: Kameramann des deutschen und des österreichischen Films, Ausbildung als Photograph, dann nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg erst Dokumentarfilme. Für seine frühen Arbeiten in den Spielfilmen "Die endlose Nacht" und "Kennwort Reiher" erhielt er jeweils das Filmband in Gold. Drehte auch zahlreiche Sexfilme, zum Teil unter Pseudonymen. Ende der Siebziger Jahren als Kameramann für Fernsehserien wie "Der Alte" oder "Jauche und Levkojen".
