Christopher Plummer was born on Dezember 13, 1927 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is a Canadian Actor, known for International Velvet (1977), Little Gloria - Happy at last (1982), I love N.Y. (1987), Christopher Plummer's first movie on record is from 1958. His last motion picture on file dates from 2017.
Biografia (en Alemán): Plummer, der seine Karriere an kanadischen Theatern begann und 1954 sein Broadway-DebĂĽt gab, gehört diesseits und jenseits des Atlantiks zu den besten, stets umjubelten und vielfach ausgezeichneten Shakespeare-Interpreten. Seine erste Kinorolle spielte er 1958 in Sidney Lumets Film ĂĽber das Leben hinter den Kulissen des amerikanischen Theaters "Eines Tages öffnet sich die TĂĽr".
Zu den wichtigsten seiner nahezu 200 Film- und Fernsehparts zählen u.a. der Kaiser Commodus ("Der Untergang des Römischen Reiches", 1963), der Baron von Trapp ("Meine Lieder - meine Träume", 1965), der weltberühmte Schriftsteller Rudyard Kipling ("Der Mann, der König sein wollte", 1975) und die Rolle des Contini-Verchese in dem TV-Mehrteiler "Die Dornenvögel" (1983). Im vergangenen Jahr überzeugte Christopher Plummer als Psychiater Dr. Rosen in dem fulminanten Psychodrama "A Beautiful Mind". Am 13.
