Critiques (en Allemand): Mit drei fürstlichen Rivalen bewirbt sich der Dieb von Bagdad um die Hand der Kalifen-Tochter. Nachdem er seine Vermessenheit eingesehen und sich geläutert hat, kommt er durch Zaubermittel doch noch zum Ziel. Douglas Fairbanks, der wie Mary Pickford und Charlie Chaplin sein eigener Produzent war, hat in diesem exotischen Märchen nicht nur sein Schauspielertalent entfalten können, sondern auch die ganze Trickmaschinerie Hollywoods. Ein heute noch sehenswerter Stummfilm. (Zoom)
