Anel Sudakjevich was born on October 28, 1906 in Moskau. She was a Russian Actress, known for Ivan Groznij II (1946), Potomok Dzhinghis Khana (1928), Miss Mend (1926), Anel Sudakjevich's first movie on record is from 1925. Anel Sudakjevich died on August 22, 2002 in Moskau. Her last motion picture on file dates from 1981.
Biographical Notes in German: Anna Aleksejevna Sudakjevich, Schauspielerin des frühen sowjetischen Films. 1925-1927 Schauspielunterricht im Studio von Jurij Savadskij, vor allem beim Studio Mezhrabpom 1927 bis 1933 tätig. Die Typisierung und Festlegung auf Rollen ehemaliger Bojaren oder anderen Vertretern des alten Regimes enttäuschte sie und bewog sie, nach nur einem Tonfilm dem Kino den Rücken zu kehren. Nach der Geburt ihres Sohnes 1934-36 Ausbildung als Modedesignerin am GABT, 1936-46 Entwürfe für sowjetische Modehäuser, 1946-1950 an den Modewerkstätten GUTSI, 1950-1957 Chef-Ausstatter des Moskauer Zirkus, 1957-1970 Ausstatter des Sowjet-Zrkus. 1969 erhielt sie den Ehrentitel "Verdiente Künstlerin der RSFSR".
In Filmen trat sie nur noch wenig auf, so etwa in Eisenstein's "Ivan der Schreckliche II" oder in Klimov's "Agonie".
Auf Grund der Nahmensähnlichkeit werden Anel Sudakievich's Filme oft der Schauspielerin Anna Sten, geborene Sujakevitch, zugeschrieben. (lhg 2008)
