Hans Stüwe was born on May 14, 1901 in Halle (Saale). He was a German Actor, known for Grün ist die Heide (1951), Heisses Blut (1936), Blaue Jungs (1957), Hans Stüwe's first movie on record is from 1926. Hans Stüwe died on May 13, 1976 in Berlin. His last motion picture on file dates from 1957.
Biographical Notes in German: Schule in Parching, studierte Philosophie, Literatur und Musikgeschichte, Gesangstudium, Konzertreisen und drei Jahre an der Oper in Königsberg. Durch den Regisseur Blachnitzky zum Film.

Er wurde am 14. Mai 1901 in Halle (Saale) als Gutsbesitzersohn geboren. Nach Gymnasium, Studium und Schauspielunterricht debütierte er als Sänger am Stadttheater von Königsberg und kam in den Theaterferien nach Berlin. Dort bekam er ein Filmangebot, das er nur zögernd annahm. Sein erster Stummfilm, DES KÖNIGS BEFEHL (1926), machte ihn über Nacht bekannt.

Beim Tonfilm kam er dank seiner vollen Stimme gut an und begann in DICH HAB´ ICH GELIEBT (1929). Er war Partner von Zarah Leander in ES WAR EINE RAUSCHENDE BALLNACHT (1939) und in DER WEG INS FREIE (1941). bis 1945 spielte er in 31 Filmen, darunter in DREI VÄTER UM ANNA (1939) (Ilse Werner) und DER VERZAUBERTE TAG (1944) (Winnie Markus). Obgleich er immer wieder unter unerklärlichen Depressionen litt, die sich nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg noch verstärkten, war er noch in etwa zehn Filmen zu sehen und arbeitete in der Opernregie beim Rundfunk. Einen Tag vor Vollendung seines 75. Lebensjahres starb er am 13. Mai 1976 in Berlin
