Eigil Wangøe was born under the given name Eigil Edwin Wangøe on Februar 13, 1902 in Kopenhagen. He was a Danish Operatőr, Editor, Standphotograph, known for Der Dämon des Himalaya (1935), Artisté (1935), Die Grosse Nummer (1942), Eigil Wangøe's first movie on record is from 1927. He was married to Sonja Wangøe. Eigil Wangøe died on October , 1987 in San Juan County, Washington, USA. His last motion picture on file dates from 1942.
Zivotopisné poznámky (v němčině): Auch Eigil Wangoe, Kameramann und Photograph im deutschen Film, Sohn des dänischen Kameramanns Sophus Wangøe, wohl auch durch ihn zum Film, vor allem als Standphotograph in den Dreissiger Jahren in Deutschland tätig. Kehrte um 1942 nach Kopenhagen zurück. Nach 1945 wanderte er mit seiner Familie in die USA aus, ohne aber weiter in Filmproduktionen zu arbeiten. Eigil starb 1987 in San Juan County, Washington, USA; seine Frau Sonja starb im Jahre 1992. (lhg 2014)
