He was an American Producer, known for Wings (1927), The Legion of the Condemned (1928), Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1931), Adolph Zukor's first movie on record is from 1913. Adolph Zukor died on June 10, 1976 in Los Angeles, California, USA. His last motion picture on file dates from 2008.
Biographical Notes in German: Amerikanischer Filmindustrieller und Produzent, 1904 eröffnete er sein erstes
Kino in New York "Crystall Hall". 1912 gründete Zukor die
Produktionsgesellschaft Famous Players Film Company, 1916 schloss diese sich
mit Jesse Laskys Firma zusammen. 1917 kaufte Zukor die Paramount und brachte
seine Unternehmen in die Paramount Pictures Corporation ein. Bis 1935 war er
Leiter der Paramount, ab 1935 Vorsitzender des Aufsichtsrates.

Seine Memoiren veröffentlichte Zukor unter dem Titel "The Public is never
wrong".
