aufgewachsen in Beirut, und ihrem Sohn Arshile. Arshile heisst so nach dem ì
berühmten abstrakt-expressionistischen Maler ARSHILE GORKY (1904-48), einem ì
überlebenden des Genozids, der in New York seinen armenischen Namen Adoian ì
verleugnete und dann 20 Jahre nach einem Familienfoto am Doppelporträt seiner ì
umgekommenen Mutter malte, bevor er sich das Leben nahm. Es ist das Bild, es ì
