Lilli Flohr was born under the given name Elisabeth Günsburger on October 17, 1893 in Wien. She was an Austrian Actress, known for Ein Tag auf dem Mars (1921), Das Haus in der Dragonergasse (1921), Fridericus Rex - Teil 1, Sturm und Drang (1921), Lilli Flohr's first movie on record is from 1918. Lilli Flohr died on July 7, 1978 in New South Wales. Her last motion picture on file dates from 1928.
Biographical Notes in German: Das oft genannte Geburtsjahr 1903 dürfte falsch sein. Nach eigenen Angaben Theaterdebüt mit acht Jahren am Raimund Theater in Wien, mit vierzehn Jahren Soubrettenrollen, dann Theater in Berlin und Köln. Erste Rollen im Film 1918, rund dreissig Filme bis zum Ende der Stummfilmzeit. 1934 Auftrittsverbot in Deutschland und Ausschluss aus der Reichstheaterkammer, letzte Auftritte in Deutschland im Juli 1938 beim üdischen Kulturbund in Köln.
1939 Emigration nach Shanghai, dort Auftritte in Operetten und Theater des deutschsprachigen Emigrantenkreises, u.a. als Polly in der Dreigroschenoper. Nach 1945 in Australien, dort 1978 im Alter von 84 Jahren verstorben.
