Das Ende von Thomas Harper Ince bleibt mysteriös: von einem Wochenende auf der Luxusyacht des Zeitungstycoons Hearst wurde Ince tot an Land gebracht: Ob er von Hearst irrtümlich erschossen wurde, konnte nie geklärt werden.
