Phil Jutzi was born on July 22, 1896 in Alt-Leiningen. He was a German Director, known for Berlin Alexanderplatz (1929), Konjets Sankt-Peterburga (1927), Unser täglich Brot (1928), Phil Jutzi's first movie on record is from 1913. Phil Jutzi died on May 1, 1946 in Neustadt a.d. Weinstrasse. His last motion picture on file dates from 1942.

Film GmbH." (1926 - 1932), für die er seinen bekanntesten ì
Film "Mutter Krausens Fahrt ins Glück" 1929 realisiert. ì
Emigrierte 1933 nach Österreich, kehrte dann aber einige ì
Jahre später nach Deutschland zurück, wo er dann noch als ì
Kameramann tätig blieb.
Jutzi bleibt einer der wichtigsten Vertreter des ì
realistischen und sozialkritischen Films der Weimarer ì
Republik.
