He was an American Actor, known for Arsenic and Old Lace (1944), River of no Return (1954), City Lights (1931), Hank Mann's first movie on record is from 1913. Hank Mann died on November 25, 1971 in South Pasadena, CA, USA. His last motion picture on file dates from 1958.
Biographical Notes in German: eigentlich David W. Lieberman, Schauspieler des amerikanischen Films, nach anderen Quellen 1888 in New York geboren. 1912 zur Keystone von Mack Sennett, einer der "Keystone Cops", ein übertriebener Schnurrbart wird Hank Mann's Markenzeichen. 1914 spielt er in fünf Komödien von Charles Chaplin mit, verlässt dann die Keystone für Laemmle's Transatlanic und geht schliesslich zur Fox, wo er in einigen der "Sunshine Comedies" auftritt.
In der zweiten Hälfte seiner Karriere arbeietet Hank Mann vor allem als Maskenbildner, Charles Chaplin holte ihn für kurze Auftritte in seinen Film wie "City Lights", "Modern Times" und "The Great Dictator".
