Maja Maranow was born on March 20, 1961 in Nienburg an der Weser. She was a German Actress, known for Der neue Mann (1989), Die Insel (Serienhaupttitel) (1987), Sie und Er (1991), Maja Maranow's first movie on record is from 1985. Maja Maranow died on January 4, 2016 in Berlin. Her last motion picture on file dates from 2015.
Biographical Notes in German: Maja Maranow wurde 1961 in Nienburg an der Weser geboren. Sie absolvierte eine Ausbildung für Schauspiel und Musical in Hamburg. Ihr derzeitiger Wohnsitz ist Berlin. Nach Engagements an den Städti­schen Bühnen Lübeck und dem Thalia Theater in Hamburg erhielt sie 1984 ihre ersten Fernsehrollen. Im gleichen Jahr spielte sie in dem Kinofilm "André schafft sie alle" unter der Regie von Peter Fratzscher. Es folgten zahlreiche Rollen in Fernsehproduktionen, darunter in Dieter Wedels Mehrteilern "Der Schattenmann", "Der König von St. Pauli" und "Die Affäre Semmeling". Den ZDF-Zuschauern ist sie au­ßerdem bekannt durch ihre Hauptrolle in der Krimireihe "Ein starkes Team" (1994-2005)
