Eva May was born under the given name Eva Maria Mandl on May 29, 1901. She was an Austrian Actress, known for Die Fledermaus (1923), Paganini (1922), Das törichte Herz (1919), Eva May's first movie on record is from 1914. She was married to Manfred Liebenau, Lothar Mendes and Manfred Noa. Eva May died on September 10, 1924 in Baden bei Wien. Her last motion picture on file dates from 1924.
Biographical Notes in German: Tochter von Mia und Joe May, bereits in frühen Jahren Rollen in Filmen ihres Vaters, an Herbst 1918 eigene Serie bei der Ringfilm unter der Regie ihres ersten Mannes Mandred Liebenau. Ende der Zehner und anfangs der Zwanziger Jahre beliebter Star des deutschen Films, dann auch in Filmen ihrer späteren Ehemänner Lothar Mendes und Manfred Noah. Nach Zerwürfnissen mit ihrem Vater verübte Eva May 1924 in Baden bei Wien Selbstmord.
