Peter Sattmann was born on December 26, 1947 in Zwickau. He is a German Actor, known for Von Gewalt keine Rede (1991), Karambolage (1989), Der absurde Mord (1992), Peter Sattmann's first movie on record is from 1976. His last motion picture on file dates from 2019.
Biographical Notes in German: Peter Sattmann wurde 1947 in Zwickau, Sachsen geboren. Nach seiner Schauspielausbildung in München kam er 1969 ans Deutsche Theater in Göttingen. Weitere Stationen waren das Würtembergische Staatstheater Stuttgart (1972-79) unter Claus Peymann, das Freie Schauspielhaus Bochum (1980-83), ebenfalls unter Peymann, und von 1988 bis 1990 das Schillertheater in Berlin unter Heribert Sasse.
Peter Sattmann wurde in den Jahren 1975 und 1977 von der deutschsprachigen Theaterkritik zum Schauspieler des Jahres gewählt. Er ist Autor der satirischen Stücke "Der Erzbischof ist da", "Open End", "Der Fallschirmspringer" und "BNM", die er in Stuttgart, Bochum und am Schauspielhaus Zürich selbst zur Uraufführung brachte. Daneben komponiert er Musik, so z.B. für die Fernsehspiele "Kerbels Flucht" und "Willkommen im Paradies" von Erwin Keusch, für die ARD Vorabendserie "Der Prins muss her", und für "Das Familienfest" von Dagmar Damek.
