Bei dem Produzenten Myron Selznick drehte sie mehrere romantische Melodramen, die sie zu einem der beliebtesten Stars der späten Zehnerjahre machten. Ihr rätselhafer Tod 1920 blieb stets ungeklärt, und trotz ihrer Popularität geriet sie relativ schnell in Vergessenheit. Von ihren Filmen haben nur wenige überlebt.
