Synopsis in German
«Der Komponist Toni Hofer arbeitet mit den beiden Librettisten Nicky und Vicky Mahler an einer neuen Operette, doch ihm fehlt die zündende Idee für den Titelwalzer. Hilfe naht in Gestalt von Hedi, der Ziehschwester von Nicky und Vicky. Sie bezaubert Hofer und inspiriert ihn zu einer Melodie, die er jedoch wieder vergisst, sobald Hedi verschwunden ist. Da er nicht weiss, dass es sich um die Verwandte seiner Librettisten handelt, die Hedi aus Sorge von dem leichtlebigen Künstler fernhalten wollen, sucht er sie anfangs vergeblich. Doch im letzten Moment, kurz nach der Generalprobe, kehrt seine Muse zurück – und mit ihr der Walzer und die Liebe.» (filmportal.de)
