Remarks and general Information in German: June Mathis hatte das Drehbuch ursprünglich für Rudolph Valentino unter dem Titel "The Spanish Cavalier" geschrieben, die weibliche Hauptrolle sollte Nita Naldi spielen, als Regisseur war Alan Dwan vorgesehen. Die Rolle wurde dann für Pola Negri umgeschrieben und der Film in "Spanish Dancer" umgetitelt. (lhg 2010)
