Synopsis in German
n ihrem elften Fall sind die Tatort-Kommissare Charlotte Sänger und Fritz Dellwo einem Giftmörder auf der Spur, der es offenbar auf Bedürftige abgesehen hat, die die kostenlose Mittagstafel nutzen: Mechthild Stemmler, alleinerziehende Mutter von drei Kindern und Hartz-IV-Empfängerin, arbeitet ehrenamtlich bei der Mittagstafel. Während der Lebensmittelausgabe für Bedürftige bricht sie bewusstlos zusammen. Auf dem Weg ins Krankenhaus stirbt Mechthild Stemmler. Todesursache ist eine Vergiftung.

Kommissarin Charlotte Sänger und Kommissar Fritz Dellwo starten sofort eine Aktion, damit die ausgegebenen Lebensmittel zurückgeholt werden. Ein Anschlag auf die Mittagstafel ist nicht auszuschließen. Doch dann bekommen sie von der Gerichtsmedizinerin einen Hinweis, der dafür spricht, dass Mechthild Stemmler ganz gezielt ermordet wurde. Bei ihren Nachforschungen stoßen Sänger und Dellwo auf eine dunkle Vergangenheit der Ermordeten, in die mehrere Mitarbeiter der Mittagstafel verwickelt sind. (HR Presse)
