Synopsis in German
Während der Premiere des neuen Stücks "Johanna von Orleans" an der Londoner Oper kommt es zu mysteriösen Todesfällen. Verängstigt weigert sich die Primadonna ein weiteres Mal die Bühne zu betreten. Die junge Christine soll die Hauptrolle übernehmen, wird jedoch kurz darauf verschleppt. Auf der Suche nach Christine kommt ihr Freund Harry einer unheimlichen Verschwörung auf die Schliche: Die Oper stammt nicht aus der Feder des Lord D'’Arcy, wie dieser behauptet, sondern wurde von einem tot geglaubten Musikprofessor geschrieben, der im Kellergewölbe der Oper sein Unwesen treibt.
