Synopsis in German
FBI-Agentin Jennifer Marsh (Diane Lane) und ihr Kollege Griffin Dowd (Colin Hanks) aus der Abteilung für Cyber Crimes stoßen auf eine Internetseite, auf der Menschen live einer Katze beim Sterben zusehen können. Einige Tage später wird ein weiteres Live-Video frei geschaltet: Diesmal wird ein Mann gefoltert. Der Besucher der Website erfährt: Je mehr Menschen die Seite anklicken, desto höher wird die Dosis eines dem Gefangenen verabreichten Antigerinnungsmittels, wodurch dieser immer schneller verblutet. Trotz aller Warnungen des FBI steigt die Zahl der Besucher der Seite immer weiter an. Der Mann stirbt. Bald folgen weitere Opfer. Jennifer und ihrem Team läuft die Zeit davon. (ZDF Presse)
