Remarks and general Information in German: «Bereits am 24. Sept. 1912 hatte Max einen Stierkampf (mit Gallito and Machaquito) in Barcelona besucht: "... und entbietet den Stier an Max Linder, der die Loge 45 besetzt." (Correspondencia de España, 25.9.12). Möglicherweise sind dabei die Anfangsszenen des Films entstanden. Die am 28. Sept. 1912 entstandenen Aufnahmen wurden bereits einen Tag später auf der Bühne des TEATRE NOVETATS gezeigt. Pathé veröffentlicht einen Neuschnitt des Films im Jahr 1920. Am Ende des Films wurde eine Szene hinzugefügt, die die Stierkampfszenen der zweiten Hälte in einen Traum umwandelten: "...et se réveille dans son lit en face de la vache, qui le regarde toujours, tranquillement."
