Synopsis in German
Trotz attestierter Mehlallergie muss der gelernte Bäcker Dietmar keine kleineren Brötchen backen. Im Gegenteil. Auf Kosten seiner Lebensgefährtin Sibylle verbringt er die Zeit auch ohne Arbeit recht angenehm. Eine bequeme wie einträgliche Einnahmequelle hat er sich durch den Verkauf von Blumen erschlossen, die seine Stieftochter für ihn in Schrebergärten klaut. Dietmars Bruder Wolfgang, mit fast 30 Jahren noch immer Junggeselle, ist zwar bei einer Gartenbaufirma angestellt, doch auch er bleibt der Arbeit wegen seiner angeblich schwachen Konstitution oft fern.

Seit dem plötzlichen Tod des Vaters vor mehr als einem Jahrzehnt neigt Mutter Hartkopf dazu, das Verhalten ihrer verwöhnten Söhne grundsätzlich zu entschuldigen. Sie ahnt nicht, dass Wolfgang aus Eifersucht auf den neuen Mann in ihrem Leben mit Dietmar gemeinsame Sache macht. Erst ihre resolute Schwester Gerda geht den Dingen auf den Grund. (mdr Presse)
