Konstanze Schiller, die erfolgreiche und begehrenswerte Besitzerin eines Münchener Spas, wird tot in einem Schokoladenbad aufgefunden - ein nahezu perfekter Mord. Die Münchener Hauptkommissare Ivo Batic und Franz Leitmayr stellen schnell fest, dass auch die Familie der Toten sich ganz dem Schönheitskult widmet: für Mutter Rita Schiller ist Schönsein schlicht das Maß aller Dinge und Konstanze dessen Verkörperung. Dem Ehemann und Männermodel Andreas Lutz bedeuten Attraktivität und Jugendlichkeit nicht weniger als die Existenz.
