Synopsis in German
In seinem Film "Die Taube" stellt Regisseur Yves Caumon (ausgezeichnet für seinen 2001 erschienenen Film "Amour d'enfance") Anne in den Mittelpunkt, die ein schattenhaftes Dasein in Bordeaux führt. Sie arbeitet in der Kantine eines Krankenhauses und lebt sonst zurückgezogen in ihrer Wohnung. Der Küchenchef der Kantine bemerkt ihre Einsamkeit und versucht, ihr näherzukommen. Sein Interesse ist nicht nur sexueller Natur, sondern er ist auch aufrichtig um ihre Person bemüht. Doch Anne lässt ihn nicht an sich heran. Eines Abends geht sie mit einem Fremden mit, doch im entscheidenden Moment macht sie wieder einen Rückzieher. Anne verbietet sich nicht nur ihre Sexualität, sondern kann auch keine Form der Emotionalität zulassen. Sie arbeitet, schläft und isst - sie funktioniert in einem mechanischen Leben. Bis plötzlich ein Kratzen in der Wand diese beklemmende Routine durchbricht. Ein Vogel hat sich in ihrer Wohnung eingenistet und fordert ihre Aufmerksamkeit ein. Schritt für Schritt baut Anne eine Beziehung zu dem Tier auf und beginnt, gleichzeitig den tragischen Tod ihres Sohnes und die Trennung vom Vater des Kindes zu verarbeiten. "Die Taube" erzählt mit einfühlsamer Leichtigkeit die Geschichte einer Frau, die nicht weinen kann und schließlich lernt, sich dem Fluss des Lebens hinzugeben. (Arte Presse)
