Synopsis in German
Robert Küfner, Juniorchef eines Hotels in Venedig, lernt im Flugzeug die aparte Susanne Peters kennen. Sie hat unter dem Künstlernamen Perusa Karriere gemacht und tritt ein Engagement am Lido an. Bei Robert ist es Liebe auf den ersten Blick. Susanne zeigt sich etwas spröder, aber erliegt dann doch bald seinem Charme. Ihre Heiratspläne stoßen allerdings auf ein ernstes Hindernis: Ferdinand Küfner, Roberts Vater, hält nicht viel von Künstlerinnen, außerdem hat er für seinen Sohn schon eine andere Braut im Auge. Sie heißt Nina und ist die Tochter des dänischen Hotelkönigs Gustavson; wenn sie Robert heiratet, könnte Ferdinand Küfners Traum von einer großen Hotelkette Wirklichkeit werden. Als Nina nach Venedig kommt, vertraut sie Robert an, dass sie längst einen anderen liebt. Susanne wiederum gewinnt schnell das Wohlwollen von Küfner senior, als sie den verrückten Plan verwirklicht, in seinem Hotel als Zimmermädchen zu arbeiten. Das ist zwar nicht so einfach und macht nicht nur ihrem Manager zu schaffen, aber der Erfolg lässt nach mancherlei komischen Verwicklungen nichts zu wünschen übrig... (rbb Presse)
