Das Hotel Palace startet in die Wintersaison. Noch geht es chaotisch zu in diesem kleinen, in sich geschlossenen Kosmos. Über allem wacht ordnend und lenkend die attraktive Patronin. Die Besetzungsliste von "Palace Hotel" liest sich wie ein Who's who des alten Schweizerfilms: Anne-Marie Blanc, Paul Hubschmid, Gustav Knuth, Käthe Gold, Emil Hegetschweiler, Alfred Rasser, Zarli Carigiet, Margrit Rainer und viele andere beleben das legendäre Hotel. Vieles läuft bei den Vorbereitungen im Palace nicht ganz rund. Das Zimmermädchen Emilie steckt in Geldnöten. Ihr Sohn Walter hat als Laufbote eine Mappe mit viel Geld verloren. (3Sat Presse)
