Synopsis in German
Dem Saigoner Rikschafahrer Cyclo wird sein gemietetes Gefährt gestohlen. Er muss den Schaden als Helfer einer Gangster-Bande abarbeiten. Ihr melancholischer Anführer, genannt Poet, zieht Cyclo in einen Strudel von Verbrechen. Cyclos Schwester ahnt davon nichts, als sie ebenfalls der düsteren Faszination dieses "Poeten" erliegt, der sie in die Prostitution treibt.
