Synopsis in German
"Ein heiteres Flimmerspiel" (Vorspann) von Theaterregisseur Max Reinhardt:
Zwei Jünglinge, der Kecke und der Verträumte, folgen zwei Mädchen, der Lebhaften und der Scheuen, per Ruderboot auf eine kleine Insel. Natürlich eilen die Väter, der Gutmütige und der Heftige, ihren Töchtern hinterher. Auf der Insel sorgen Götter, Faune, Wasserteufel und Najaden für amouröse Turbulenzen. Circe verwandelt die Väter in Schweine. Am Schluss kehren die Sterblichen ans Festland zurück und überlassen die Insel wieder den Göttern. (www.filmportal.de)
