Remarks and general Information in German: Die erhalten gebliebenen Fragmente zeigen in einer sehr theatralisch wirkenden Inszenierung die Revolte der Einwohner Jerusalems gegen die römische Misswirtschaft, das Attentat auf den römischen Prokonsul vor dem Hause Ben Hurs und seine Gefangennahme, sowie Teile der Szene, in welcher Ben Hur zum römischen Bürger proklammiert wird.
Die Backgrounds zum Film sind noch gemalt, die Aufnahmen weitgehend statisch in Totalen gedreht, erklärende Zwischentitel (in der visionierten Fassung auf Deutsch) sind nur ganz kurz eingeblendet. (lhg 2007)
