Synopsis in German
Marc, ein attraktiver junger Playboy und Gauner, hatte in New York eine Affäre mit der Frau eines eifersüchtigen Gangsterchefs. Während eines Urlaubs in Monte Carlo wird Marc von den Schergen des betrogenen Ehemannes aufgespürt, mit dem Auftrag, ihn zu töten. Barbara, eine reiche Witwe, stellt ihn als Chauffeur ein. Schon nach kurzer Zeit bemerkt Marc, dass in der gepflegten Villa nicht alles mit rechten Dingen zugeht. Er recherchiert, dass Barbaras Mann von einem nie gefassten Mörder umgebracht wurde, und entdeckt, dass sie Vincent, den Mörder ihres Mannes, im Dachstuhl versteckt hält. Außerdem ist da noch Barbaras junge Cousine Melinda, die sich in Marc verliebt. Doch der wird von Barbara verführt, die an seinem Pass interessiert ist, um zusammen mit Vincent zu fliehen. Ein gefälschtes Telegramm und das Auftauchen der Killer vereiteln den Plan und provozieren ein dramatisches Finale... (wdr Presse)
