Synopsis in German
Um ein schmachvolles Kriegserlebnis zu verdrängen, flüchtet sich eine italienische Gräfin in die halbseidene Existenz einer Nachtklubsängerin in Budapest, die sich von einem zynischen Romanschriftsteller aushalten lässt. Durch Zufall lichtet sich für sie der Schleier der Vergangenheit, und sie findet ihren verschollenen Ehegatten wieder.
