Synopsis in German
Im Berchtesgadener Land des 15. Jahrhunderts: Zwischen Lambert, Sohn eines Amtmanns, und der Bauerntochter Jula entwickelt sich eine Liebesbeziehung. Doch ihre Väter geraten durch ein Missverständnis über das Weiderecht in einen erbitterten Streit. Als die Sennhütte von Julas Vater niederbrennt, Jula misshandelt und ihr taubstummer Bruder ermordet wird, beginnen die Bauern einen blutigen Aufstand gegen den Berchtesgadener Fürstpropst Pienzenauer. Das ganze Alpenvorland wird von einer Welle der Gewalt überrollt. Erst als der König den Frieden wieder herstellt, kann das Liebespaar wieder zueinander finden. (www.filmportal.de)
