Synopsis in German
Die Pariser Place Vendôme gilt als besonders feine Adresse für Schmuckgeschäfte. Als ihn ehemalige Geschäftspartner des Handels mit gestohlenen Diamanten bezichtigen, gerät der Juwelier Vincent Malivert in einen Strudel von Intrigen und Verrat und rast mit seinem Wagen in den Tod. Seine Frau Marianne, die bis dahin unter schweren Depressionen und Alkoholproblemen litt, übernimmt die Geschäfte.
