Vor dem Hintergrund des Strukturwandels im Ruhrgebiet dokumentiert der Konflikt der ungleichen Brüder Robert und Adam die Problematik einer Region durch Stahlwerksschließungen, Arbeitslosigkeit und dem Niedergang einer ganzen Industrie.
