Auf einer Reise nach New York trifft die junge Sängerin und Tänzerin Sally Lee den Broadway-Agenten Steve Raleigh. Steve ist von Sallys Gesangs- und Tanzfähigkeiten beeindruckt und engagiert sie. Natürlich entwickelt sich eine Romanze ...
Die junge Sängerin und Tänzerin Sally Lee ist auch Pferdenärrin und -expertin. Sie freundet sich mit zwei Tierpflegern an, die sich um ein Pferd kümmern, das früher Sallys Familie gehörte. Sie begleitet die beiden auf einer Zugreise nach New York, auf der sie den Broadway-Agenten Steve Raleigh trifft. Steve ist beeindruckt von Sallys Gesangs- und Tanzfähigkeiten und engagiert sie für eine Broadway-Produktion. Natürlich entwickelt sich zwischen beiden auch eine Romanze. (3Sat Presse)
