Synopsis in German
Als Robin Hood (Lex Barker) von einer langen Reise zurückkehrt, hat sich in seiner heimatlichen Grafschaft einiges verändert. Der Schurke Jonathan Brooks (Mario Scaccia) hat Robin Hoods Vater ermordet und führt ein Schreckens-Regiment. Nun begehrt der selbstsüchtige Unhold auch noch die Hand von Kareen Blain (Jackie Lane), Robins langjähriger Verlobten. Als Brooks die Heirat öffentlich bekannt geben lässt, schlägt Robin sich auf die Seite des raubeinigen Piratenkapitäns Guercio (Walter Barnes), mit dessen Hilfe er Kareen aus den Fängen des Usurpators befreien kann. Brooks' Tochter Lizbeth (Rossana Rory) ersinnt eine List, dank derer Kareen sich bald wieder in der Gewalt des Tyrannen befindet. Um Robin Hood in eine Falle zu locken, verurteilt Brooks die schöne Kareen zum Tode und lässt ihre öffentliche Hinrichtung anberaumen. Die Chancen, seine Geliebte abermals zu befreien, stehen denkbar schlecht. Denn Guercio und seine Piraten verweigern Robin die Gefolgschaft.
