Schwedischer Titel: Beduinen Remarks and general Information in German: Remake des gleichnamigen Films von Cecil B. deMille aus dem Jahre 1915 nach dem Theaterstück von Edgar Selwyn, der seinereit auch die Rolle des Jamil spielte. Ramon Novaro sollte in dem Remake mit dem Titel "The Barbarian" aus dem Jahre 1933 in der Regie von Sam Wood die Rolle des Jamil ein weites Mal verkörpern. Seine Partnerin war dann Myrna Loy.

Der Film ist in unvollständigen Kopien in ost-europäischen Filmarchiven erhalten.
