Synopsis in German
Der Pilot Peter van Allen heiratet in betrunkenem Zustand die berühmte Konzertpianistin Sandra Kovak. Nach der rauschenden Hochzeitsnacht erfährt er jedoch, dass die Ehe nicht rechtskräftig ist, weil Sandra von ihrem früheren Mann noch nicht offiziell geschieden ist. Um Abstand zu gewinnen, besucht Peter seine Ex-Geliebte Maggie Petterson und heiratet sie kurzerhand. Das Eheglück währt nicht lange, denn Peter stürzt über dem brasilianischen Dschungel ab. Die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass er überlebt hat, ist gering.
Als Maggie von Sandra erfährt, dass sie schwanger ist, überredet sie ihre Konkurrentin, das Kind für sie auszutragen, damit ihr etwas von Peter bleibt. Als dieser eines Tages zurückkehrt, verschweigt Maggie ihm, dass das Kind nicht von ihr stammt. Sandra wird neidisch auf das traute Familienleben. (3Sat Presse)
