French title: Une Rose parmis les Brousailles Reviews in German: Eine sehr schöne, allerdings nur noch teilweise erhaltene Kopie mit handcolorierten ("Mouchoir") Bildern: Mary arbeitet in der Fabrik am Fliessband. Als sie nach Hause kommt, nimmt ihr Vater, ein Trunkenbold, ihr den Verdienst weg und bringt das Geld in die nächste Wirtschaft. Auf dem Heinweg fällt er zusammen und wird von Mary nach Hause gebracht - die Ambulanz mit dem jungen Arzt kommt zu spät. Mary kehrt zur Arbeit in die Fabrik zurück, am Abend wartet der Doktor auf sie, der sie wiedersehen wollte. Unterdessen ist ihre Freundin Betty in einem Café als Sängerin engagiert worden, wo sie von dem reichen Baron (?) an den Tisch eingeladen wird. Er verspricht Betty, sie wie eine Tochter aufzunehmen, ihr eine gute Ausbildung zu verschaffen, bringt sie zu sich nach Hause, allerdings in offensichtlich anderer Absicht. Ihr Freund folgt dem Auto und entdeckt den wahren Charakter des Wohltäters. Es gelingt ihm, den Übeltäter zu überwältigen, und die beiden fliehen zu Betty...
