Synopsis in German
Nach einem Luftangriff nimmt Lena den jungen Marinesoldaten Bremer, der sie an ihren Sohn erinnert, spontan mit nach Hause. Sie kocht dem Seemann eine Suppe, ein netter Abend, aus dem plötzlich mehr wird. Lena bietet ihm an zu bleiben. Im Angesicht der Rückkehr in einen aussichtslosen Kampf wird Bremer fahnenflüchtig – und liefert sich einer Frau aus, die er kaum kennt.
Lenas Wohnung wird zu einer Insel, auf der sie sich beide munter treiben lassen: Bremer, der viel zu jung ist, um im Endkampf draufzugehen, und Lena, die jung genug ist, um ihre Lebenslust zu spüren. Eine ungewöhnliche und heftige Liebe, die den Krieg ignoriert, auch wenn er sie ständig bedroht.
Die größte Bedrohung aber wird der Frieden. Lena verschweigt Bremer die Kapitulation und hält ihn im hausgemachten Kriegsspiel gefangen. Als die Wahrheit ans Licht kommt, ist Bremer auf und davon. Lena liegt am Boden, als ihr plötzlich klarwird, dass diese Liebe auch Früchte getragen hat... (ARD Presse)
