Remarks and general Information in German: Ein Zensurdatum liegt für den Film nicht vor. Allerdings findet sich in "Das Lichtbild-Theater" 5. Jg. Nr 28, 10.7. 1913 ein Hinweis auf die Fertigstellung des Films. (Prinzler-Patalas, Lubitsch, pg 201)
"Der erste Filmauftritt von Ernst Lubitsch, der mit angeklebtem Bart und angegrautem Haar als Allein-Inhaber der »Heiratsvermittlung für penible Herrn« dem Hauptdarsteller eine immer lächelnde Gattin vermittelt: eine Korsett-Puppe aus einem Des sous-Geschäft. Bis auf die Szene, in der der Heirats vermittler die Schaufensterpuppe »belebt«, und den Schluss, in dem sich der Hauptdarsteller mit der von seinen Tanten für ihn ausgesuchten Braut versöhnt, ist der Film vollständig erhalten geblieben."
