Ein Berliner Szeneclub: Hier verkehren die Berliner und internationale Wirtschaftsgrößen, als es wenige Tage vor einem Wirtschaftsgipfel einen Toten gibt: Ted Wilson, amerikanischer Hedge-Fonds-Manager. Er sollte die Übernahme der erfolgreichen Firma Brom-AG abwickeln.
Hauptkommissar Till Ritter (Dominic Raacke) staunt nicht schlecht, in der Chefin des Clubs Simone (Katrin Sass), eine Bekannte aus alten Taxifahrer-Zeiten wieder zu treffen. Simone führt die Kommissare in die Gästeliste ein, auf der unter anderem der Investmentberater Zinger (Sven Lehmann) und das schöne Escort-Girl Kirsten (Natalia Avelon) stehen. Verfolgen sie mit dem Opfer ehrgeizige berufliche Interessen? Außerdem verkehren im Club die attraktive Studentin Franka (Anna Brüggemann), die dort für einen Zeitungsartikel recherchiert und Klaus Werner (Guntbert Warns), Betriebsratsvorsitzender der Brom-AG.
In der Mordnacht begehrte auch Frankas Freund Daniel (Adrian Topol) Einlass in den Club, wurde aber zurückgewiesen. Offensichtlich war er auf Franka eifersüchtig.
Der Fall wird für die Kommissare besonders heikel, als der Angestellte der amerikanischen Botschaft, Bob Miller (Errol T. Harewood), Ritter und Stark (Boris Aljinovic) seine Mordtheorie präsentiert. (rbb Presse)
