Die Kommissare Jens Hinrichs und Holm Diekmann ermitteln in einem Fall von Diebstahl, bei dem ein Wachmann ums Leben gekommen ist. Man geht davon aus, dass es sich um eine Bande von Einbrechern handelt. Um dieser auf die Spur zu kommen, heuert Kommissar Diekmann auf eigene Faust den jungen V-Mann Lenny an. Der will gerade ein neues Leben beginnen und ist dazu auf der Suche nach seiner Mutter, die ihn vor 20 Jahren zur Adoption freigegeben hat. Diekmann verspricht, ihm zu helfen. Doch bald stellt sich heraus, dass er Lenny auf die eigene Mutter angesetzt hat. (MDR Presse)
