Der junge Wissenschaftler George (Rod Taylor) hat eine Maschine erfunden, die ihm erlauben wird, in die Zukunft reisen zu können. Aber die sensationelle Erfindung stösst bei seinen Freunden auf Skepsis. Jetzt entschliesst sich George, mit seiner Zeitmaschine vom Jahr 1899 ind das Jahr 802701 zu reisen...
